| This Northwestern home started as the traditional 3 bedroom, 1 bath ranch style, with attached 2 car garage. We took the existing garage and doubled the size. Creating a set back look for the home. Clearing out some vegetation, we left several large trees that create wonderful shading during the summer. |

As can be seen from this very expressive
photograph we added on to both ends of the house and brought out the main
wall to almost double the square footage of this home. The home owners
spent a great deal of time
creating this magnificent Japanese style garden, taking advantage of all the natural daylight and the private yard. They created a showplace for friends and family to visit. Natural daylighting was a factor considered very carefully when designing this home, south facing vented windows as well as solatubes and sliding doors were all used to capitalize on the south facing lot. |

| By extending the west side of the home we
were able to take the kitchen, expanded it south increasing not only square
footage but
also its beauty. Adding a breakfast nook that overlooks the Japanese style gardens and opening up the whole room. Fine craftsmanship played an important role in desiging the kitchen, from the solid wood cabinets and wonderful marmoleum coutnertops, to the extraordinary hardwood floors. This kitchen offers a wonderfully homey and relaxing feel to all who enter. |
